Photo Journal- A Glimpse into My World
I recently found a passion for painting in 2021 and I’m never looking back! I’ve always had a love for design and color as long as I can remember. While in business school, there was lack of opportunity to be creative, thus after graduating I have made my own path taking my marketing skills with me.
“Art Will Save Her”, was an art show charity event I created August 2022 to help fund rescues of children trapped in sex trafficking. I’m honored to have put everything together for over half a year, as we had a wonderful turn out and raised over $14,000- funding the rescue of over 10 little girls!! The display behind me is an original piece I put together to help display quotes from survivors who are on their healing journey.
When it comes to a keeping my inspiration and creativity alive and well, I am a big believe in a work life balance. Work hard when you work and play hard when you play.
I adore poetry and performing! So much so that I recently started my own poetry club that studies and practices poetry monthly in Crystal Lake. It brings me a lot of joy to have a space where we value growing everyone’s wonderful talents no matter their age or skill level. It also gives me an excuse to do in-depth research for our literary lectures.
